Thanks to Liz Fogarty Photography, not only can the newly weds Lauren & Michael relive probably what will be the most special day in their lives, but in addition just about everyone else can take a peek at this one-of-a-kind wedding that took place at the Mandarin Oriental, Washington D.C. This classic, city and summer wedding was filled with an abundance of roses, in shades of pink and white, blending in perfectly with the pink and blue color theme of the celebrations. Standing besides the bride in her lace dress with a net buttoned down back, featuring a long and elegant train were the ‘maids, adding that special spark to the party in our ‘shine in any light’ Courtney dress in Feather, a beaded a-line gown with blouson bodice and a natural waistline. The celebration was filled with roses from the pattern on the brides shoes, to the pink and white bouquets and even the centerpieces used as table decor. Pulling off chic with an edge, was the bridal party as they made their way to the occasions in style – in a party bus that caught everyones attention, and wishing they were part of the party too!
Shortly following the “I’Do’s” was the reception, where the bride had made an outfit change to a stunning fully sequenced silver dress, glistening in the night lights along with her bridesmaids. The hall was decorated with baby pink tables, complementing the blue chairs and the pink floral centerpieces. Matching to the theme of roses were rose shaped horderves served to guest along with a variety of scrumptious foods, and delicious beverages, not to mention the four tier blue and white striped wedding cake, that featured a pop of color with peach flowers used as decorative pieces. This night was filled with energetic dancing, mouthwatering delights, and an abundance of love, a night that will be reminisced over for the many years to come! Take a peek below at our favorite snapshots from the joyous celebrations.
